Boutique we bring to you an alternative approach to skin health
and renewal. The Facial Acupuncture Renewal series is
designed to firm and lift the muscles in the face, reduce the
appearance of deep facial lines and give more radiance to the
skin. Sunken areas will flesh
out, sagging areas will become more toned, fine wrinkles will
disappear and deeper wrinkles will be reduced in depth.
Not only do the treatments increase the vitality in the face
but will also bring the body back into balance to achieve an overall
sense of well-being.
It is a safe alternative to surgery, without the side effects of
anesthesia and post surgical trauma.
It works
by inserting fine, sterile needles into what are called motor
points. These motor
points are located where the nerves meet the muscles. This gives the muscle a wake
up call to firm where it is flaccid and relax where it is
tense. To treat lines
in the face, again, needles are placed into and around the
lines. This causes a
micro trauma to the area signaling the cells to produce calcium and
proteins, which are the precursors to
collagen.

The Facial Acupuncture Renewal series is a
commitment of 10-20 acupuncture treatments and 4-8 Spa Facial
treatments with the professionals at Synergee Skin Spa and
Boutique. The number of treatments depends on the patients’
response to the first week of treatment, age, genetic makeup, diet
and lifestyle. After a
completion of a series, booster treatments are
recommended. Initially, every other week, and then
once a month. Usually
a significant difference can be observed after the 5th to
7th treatment and the effects can last from 3-5
years. Herbal therapy
and or dietary recommendations may be
given.
Contraindications
If you
have high blood pressure, suffer from frequent, severe, migraine
headaches, bleed or bruise easily (such as hemophiliacs or taking
certain blood thinning medication) we must first address these
issues with acupuncture before initiating a facial acupuncture
renewal series. Please
also note that the series is not indicated for anyone who is
pregnant.
